WELCOME to HOTEL, a post-COVID slice-of-life idol PB community with a supernatural twist. The community is centered around a collective of people who have been scouted for a reality TV show and the local residents of Everly, Massachusetts. The cast has been invited to stay at the haunted Everly Hotel. All-inclusive and all expenses paid!

THE RULES are very simple. Please be respectful and do not blur IC & OOC. This is a community with diverse themes ranging from light to dark. If you cannot handle IC drama, this may not be the community for you. As a courtesy to others, please provide a trigger warning and place anything that might be triggering under a cut.

EVERLY, Massachusetts is a fictional mid-size city located in between Boston and Salem. Due to it's more popular neighbors, Everly has gone largely unnoticed despite being a true supernatural hot spot. It can be described as a place that feels like a big city and small town at the same time.

THE EVERLY HOTEL is a 19-floor, 700 room art-deco hotel where strange occurrences are the norm. The hotel is located in Northern Everly. The Everly Hotel's amentities include room service, a restaurant and bar called the Raven Lounge, fitness center, and indoor pool. The penthouse suite is occupied by an enigmatic figure rumored to be the hotel owner.

Please note all characters should be original. The core five species that control Everly are vampires, werewolves, demons, fairies, and witches. However, characters can be human or any kind of creature with a Wiki page. That said, whether a character's supernatural identity is known or not will be up to your discretion. We do not discourage either or!

To join, you need:

↪A backdated bio & screened post.

We're casual here! We understand character development may happen after joining, so we don't require novel-length bios but we do expect some level of effort. Your character's basic information is a must and a short paragraph will do! Please do not apply with unfinished bios filled with placeholder text.

Not everyone will be accepted, so please try to fit in with how you set up. If you need icon or journal resources, please let us know!

If your application is deleted, you've been rejected.

UPON ACCEPTANCE please introduce your character within 72 hours. We will have surveys available as an option but any interactive form of activity is acceptable.

ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS

This rule is subject to change later on if it becomes an issue but for now we would like to be as lax as possible.

DISCORD, TELEGRAM, WIRE, and so forth are not allowed. We want to encourage activity on the friend's page and writing. Please post (on IJ) and write away to your heart's content! If found either advertising or using an app, you will be removed from the community.

Can my character be an employee at the Everly Hotel or a crew member?
Yes to both! Crew members will have the option to stay at the hotel or offsite somewhere in Everly. The only exception to this is the owner of the Everly Hotel who will be an NPC.
